Can I add a shop later?
A big backyard is not the same thing as a buildable shop site.
Can you reach it?
Vehicle access, driveway width, gates, slopes and existing improvements.
Can you put it there?
Setbacks, easements, zoning, HOA rules, septic, drain fields and irrigation.
Can it do the job?
Power, water, height, doors, parking and intended use can change the project.
If the shop is a major reason you’re buying, “probably” isn’t good enough. Verify the important pieces with the appropriate local authority and licensed professionals before relying on the plan.
